Philosophy

From my own experience as a young woman in a country outside of Europe I know that the people in a place will only take you seriously if you are trying to learn their language. In Germany, although every student has had at least a few years of English in school, the willingness to speak English with a non-German speaker is rather small. To really get to know a different culture always means to be able to speak the language.

I offer German language classes for students who want to get to grips with the basics of the country they are living in. Grammar, reading, writing, listening and conversation are all introduced in a lighthearted way through the use of materials covering everyday topics, such as greetings, hobbies, work, family, eating and drinking, etc. The pace of the course will be modified to match the interests and needs of the students.
